Closed.

Tonight, we finally closed on the house. We signed the final paperwork. The interest only payments are over...the real mortgage payments begin!

Scout wasn't really cooperating during the photo op.

We are celebrating 30 years of mortgage payments with burgers on the grill, and a big old glass of wine tonight.

If you missed my post about how construction loans work you can see it here.

  14. Cheers to this! It is one less burden to think that you have a certain home to stay in for the next 30 years of mortgage payments. I hope you wouldn't be given more than what would fit your budget so you wouldn't fail with the regular payments. :) -->Abdul
